ELOY, AZ, Aug 1st, 2005— SkyVenture Arizona is the first of a second generation open flow vertical wind tunnel designed and fabricated by SkyVenture, LLC. Located 40 miles south of Phoenix in Eloy, Arizona, it is adjacent to the largest skydiving center in the world – Skydive Arizona. The 1600hp wind tunnel includes all of the most recent advancements pioneered by SkyVenture.

This 14-foot tunnel is the first SkyVenture tunnel to feature a round flight chamber, making it truly 14-feet of working space at its narrowest point. This size is ideal for 4-Way skydiving formation teams and provides the freedom of movement that free flyers have been craving.

The International Bodyflight Association has trained 14 instructors for SkyVenture Arizona to keep up with heavy demand. Skydivers are buying tunnel time in large blocks, and first time flyer traffic among drop zone spectators and skydiver friends is also very high.

SkyVenture Arizona in conjunction with Skydive Arizona creates an ideal training environment for formation skydivers and free flyers alike.
